Overview
Our client is a multinational Renewable Energy Firm with offices in Asia, Europe and the UK. They presently seek a O&M Engineer Offshore Wind (m/f/d) to develop operational procedures, technical requirements for contractors and maintenance manuals for projects from the early development phase till the O&M phase.
As an O&M Engineer (m/f/d) Offshore Wind you will be working in a multi-disciplinary environment and contributing to the global energy transition.
Role & Responsibilities
- Developing, improving and supporting the O&M strategy and managing O&M projects from A to Z
- Responsible for implementing improvement projects to ensure and prolong the lifetime of the assets
- You will be sharing Lessons Learned on the related activities and advise technical solutions and procedural improvements
- Assist in negotiating contracts and leases for the operations phase for the necessary infrastructure to support the Operations and Maintenance of new windfarms
Skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical), preferably holding an additional qualification in (offshore) wind energy or project management
- With a minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience in the offshore wind industry and with a background from utility companies, suppliers, project developers, certification body, or similar
- Experience in developing O&M strategy and writing and developing maintenance schedules
- Business fluent in English (must have), German and French (nice to have)
- Excellent communication and verbal skills
- Intercultural competences and experiences are clearly beneficial
- Energetic, active and sociable – able to travel extensively
